Meet the trainer

Professional Trainers Institute (PTI), established November 1998, originated from the former Manpower Development of JAMPRO after the restructuring of the agency. The institution officially began operations at the Waterloo Road office of JAMPRO, and later re-established as a fully private entity located at 17 Tangerine Place, Kingston 10. Today PTI is operating at 9 Cecelio Avenue, Kingston 10. In July 2007, Hamilton’s College of Professional Training Limited was formed as the parent company of PTI. However, the management of the company decided to retain Professional Trainers Institute as the trading name since clients were already very familiar with the name. PTI now is a growing dynamic institution, consisting of a CEO, administrative and adjunct staff. The adjunct staff consists of consultants and trainers who conduct various training and educational classes. PTI is an independent body that offers a wide range of courses and training in areas such as Accounting and Financial Management, Human Relations and Resource Management (This includes customer service training), Production and Industrial Management, Sales and Marketing Management and Computer Education. Other special courses are offered, including Office Administration and Secretarial Science. The institution mainly offers short courses ranging from one day to twelve weeks. PTI also offers in-house/on-site training where they conduct the training at the location of your choice.
