This loan is specifically for barbers, hairdressers, make-up artists, nail technicians & spas
The applicant should be employed to their current place of employment for at least 12-months
Business should be in operation for at least 6 months
Documents Required
Valid Identification (passport, National ID or drivers' license)
Tax Registration Number (TRN)
2 recent passport-sized photographs
2 valid Written Recommendations (Justice of the Peace (JP), Minister of Religion, School Principal or Senior police officerr)
The Recommendation letters must be:
Dated

Application Process
To apply for this loan, a business must access Jamaica National Small Business Loan's website and locate the "BizGrow JNSLB" section found in the "Our Products" section of the website. Then click the "Apply Now" button at the bottom of the page which redirects you to another page in which you can fill out an "Apply For a Loan" form.

Processing fee is charged upon disbursement of loan
Permits or Licenses where necessary e.g.
shops & bars (food permit & spirit license),
cook shop (food handlers' permit),
chicken farm (food handlers' permit),
Hairdressers & Barbers (Hairdressing/Barbering/Cosmetology licenses).
Collateral Required:
Receipts for Household appliances and furniture to be used as Collateral e.g. (TV, Stove, Washing Machine, Fridge, Freezer, Component set, Sofa, Dining Table, Chest of Drawers) or an Asset Declaration form, signed and sealed by a Justice of the Peace (JP)
